Here is the ninja with his armor on. The black leg pad you see is the style I want to follow for the legs, arms, and shoulder. for the grayish area i wont to go with this blue armor texture from crysis.
have you tried the mask extract tool in z brush? it's under the subtools area.
paint your mask and go under subtools look for the extract button...it will create new geometry on a new subtool that can be used for clothes assersories...what ever you can think of that needs to be on the skin. go to the Z brush web forums and class rooms..register..and start being a part of the community there...i just have...OAKBEAST & WALT-ART are my registerd names there. theres a ton of stuff for you to learn there.for the both of us

Will do Walt. for the dark gray armor I used the Mask and extract tool for the mesh. believe me it came in handy.......
