Here a quick character sheet i put together for my Monday night Mica course. Also here is a task master update. Things have been a little slow with him because of class. With that being said keep an eye out for more updates on both Task Master and the Long eared Jerboa projects. Both needs some tweaking.

Geometry in Art: Liberty Leads The People

This Image is called Liberty Leads The People composed by Eugène Delacroix in 1830.
Delacroix wrote a letter to his brother dated 12 October. In the letter he wrote "My bad mood is vanishing thanks to hard work. I’ve embarked on a modern subject—a barricade. And if I haven’t fought for my country at least I’ll paint for her.

I chose this painting to study the geometry with in the composition. Soon I will compose a composition that's inspired by Liberty Leads The People geometry and the overall painting.

Task Master Update

Whats up world, here's an update on the taskmaster. I like where he is heading and he is still under the conception phase. so look for more up dates soon. Also I have been busy with the game concepts. with this concept i am trying to capture the feel and mood of the environment on this particular stage.

Just Like Cap

Well by the name of this post heading you may not know who I am talking about just yet and that's cool because you are looking at an in progress marvel character that has the insperation of predator. Well it is the Task Master. as of now he is still in progress once again. I have decided to take a small brake from animation on the game project to help my self think. I wanted to do re-create task master for some time now and i could not wait for comic con challenge 2011. so instead i will create him on my own as a stand alone project. for those that are looking for a 3D model of this guy you will see one soon. the goal now is to concept out all my ideas for him. and thin post for progress updates. Im not happy about the hood so i think i will redo it. also i may just make it future like or old and torn. Right now I'm not sure yet. I guess that's apart of conceptual art. after watching the movie predator I found my self really inspired by the attitude and body pronunciation of the creatures. I also thought the faces on them were hunting to watch at times. I still have concepts to flush out on this guy. I think ill make him futuristic like (not to futuristic) with broken technology.

Getting My ideas across

this here is just Some practice sketching and there is more to come. the goal is to train my self on how to do simple sketches and paint out the super concepts.in the past I have wasted to mach time on simple sketches that are never completed now , plane to Stop that. When sketching one should get their idea across effectively With out spending  countless amounts OP hours trying to get the point across.

Updates on a development project.

Whats up world. Its been a little while do to school, so now you will see a lot of progress popping up here and there on the blog.I'm free for the summer so now i have no choice but to post much more regularly. here is some of the things i have been working on for the development project. This 3d character is apart of the development project. there will be more information on him later this summer. Also the Sora concept is just used for practice so I gotta finish it

BRAWL................ You should know from the key looking sword..

Wassup world long time know post. My life has been super busy because of school and an up and coming game project. How ever I have been practicing in the long run. Any way here is my brawl character from poly counts new competition. Basically brawl wants competitors to take your favorite game character and re-imagined them. I wanted to mix Sora with Donte from devil may cry and Tron from tron evolution. I am not done on the sketch but still i have to get the ball rolling on rest of the lay out and modeling being the competition is over on the 6th of May.
